Device Overview
The EtherTek Network GPS Monitor is a device that receives GPS satellite data and
makes it available over an Internet connection or your local Lan.
The EtherTek Network GPS Monitor was designed for use with mobile buildings, house
boats, trailers, and vehicles that have a network connection. Accurate GPS data can be
pulled by http, snmp, or direct JSONP calls. Not limited by USB cable length, the Network
GPS Monitor can be hundreds of feet away from your monitoring hardware. If an Internet
connection is available, the Network Enabled GPS Monitor can display the GPS coordinates
overlayed on Google Maps™. Direct reporting to external tracking software. Passive POE
power supply and an external outdoor magnetic antenna with 5 meters (15 feet) of cable is
